Seven events — from children's screenings and a weaving exhibition to theatre, a music festival and a night of cinema in the sea — fill July and August across Paliki, Sami and Lixouri. ## July ### Saturday 18/7 — Children's film screening **Atheras, main square — 21:00.** In partnership with the Atheras Cultural Association, a screening of _10 Lives_ (dubbed in Greek), especially for the youngest audience. Free entry. ### Monday & Tuesday 20–21/7 — Weaving Exhibition **Sami, Nautical Sports Club — 18:00 to 23:30.** The weaving workshop takes its reputation beyond Paliki. As part of the "Local Products and Crafts Exhibition" organised by the Municipality of Sami, the association presents pieces created on the loom and the embroidery frame during the past winter. Free entry. ### Friday 31/7 — Theatre performance "Sons & Daughters" **Maspali hill, Lixouri — 21:00.** The association's theatre group celebrates its 10th anniversary with its 10th performance. Giannis Kalavrianos's play is a journey through memory and history; through personal stories it unfolds the timeless search for happiness. If you had to single out one story from your own life, which would it be? With Pan, the god of celebration, as its symbol this year, we'll eat, drink and — above all — dance to the sounds of **ROUBAGIAT, SOURLOULOU, VASSILIS PASLIDIS & DIMITRIS FRAGOULIS**. Doors 20:00, start 21:00. Entry €15, presale €10. ### Thursday 6/8 — JAWS screening in the sea **Fykia beach, Lixouri — 21:30.** We did it three years ago, and we're doing it again! 50+1 years since the release of the iconic film that still spreads terror. What could be more relaxing than watching it in the sea, at night… Free entry — swimwear required! ### Tuesday 18/8 — Documentary screening **Thomatou Square, Lixouri — 21:00.** A chance to watch Olga Laskaratou's remarkable biographical documentary _"Andreas Laskaratos & the Mysteries of Kefalonia"_ in one of Lixouri's most beautiful spots. In collaboration with the **KYMATA** International Film Festival. Free entry. ### Friday 21/8 – Sunday 30/8 — KYMATA International Film Festival As every year, we'll be at Thalassomilos every night, doing the chores, serving drinks, popcorn and sausages. The organisers are already looking for volunteers — come and join us (again) in large numbers!
