The island's capital knows how to keep the bar high. The musical-theatrical performance "I will take communion with seawater", dedicated to Nikos Kavvadias, is staged at the "O Kefalos" Municipal Theater and is one of those performances that masterfully blend words, music and the sea.

Daily concerts in Vallianou Square, screenings at the open-air cinema and outdoor exhibitions by local artists keep Argostoli culturally active. Lixouri: The summer that smells of rhythm and salt

Lixouri makes a difference. The NØMA Festival meets electronic music in natural landscapes that turn into dance parties under the stars.

The Pali Ekei Music Fest in Petani combines beach party and sunset vibes, while the theatrical performance "Lysistrata in Lixouri" breaks conventions with humor, local dialect and social commentary.

The 35th "Anna Pollatou" Gymnastics for All Festival transforms Ammes Beach into an open celebration where children, young people and adults participate in demonstrations and games.
