What happens when five women decide to "break" their silence over a cup of tea?
On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Association of Friends of the Iakovateios Library, the Association "ANAKARA" and the Women's Organization of Greece, invite you to an evening dedicated to the unseen aspects of women's experience.
"Tea is the pretext... stories are the essence."
Through the texts of Anna Synodinou (Creative Writing Workshop of the "ANAKARA" Association) and the directorial eye of Korina Katsouri, we explore all that concerns us:
The time that passes us by and the space that is denied to us.
The pressure of a career and the filters of social media.
Aging, the loneliness of an "empty nest," but also the courage of choice in the face of social stigma.
The event will include:
> Speech by OGE - Popi Kozomboli
> Theatrical performance adapted - directed by Korina Katsouri.
Actors from the Anacara theatre group: Maria Mourelatou, Sonia Christoforatou, Varvara Miniati, Eleni Efthymiadi, Korina Katsouri.
> Speech & discussion with psychologist Theodora Choraiti.
> Musical program dedicated to Women with Apostolis Mourelatos and Sonia Christoforatou (musical section of Anacara)
